'Bella Fleace Gave A Party' is an adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's classic short story. Set in 1931, the film follows Bella, an elderly aristocrat who lives alone with her butler in fading splendor. One day a distant cousin comes to stay, the heir to everything Bella owns. Finding that he cares nothing for the house or its memories, Bella decides to throw one final glorious ball.
