Leonora recently directed both episodes of The Pale Horse, an Agatha Christie adaptation written by Sarah Phelps and produced by Mammoth Screen for BBC One and Amazon. The show stars Rufus Sewel, Kaya Scodelario, Bertie Carvel and Sean Pertwee amongst others and aired February 2020.
Leonora is a Student Academy Award nominee and the recipient of a Hollywood Foreign Press Association grant. Her latest short, BEAST, a gothic fairytale starring Billie Piper & funded by Creative England recently won Best Short at Woodstock and was nominated for Best Director at Underwire. It screened internationally at multiple Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying festivals.
Leonora is also developing EX SANGUIS, originally selected & developed with iFeatures, along with BAFTA-nominated writer Islay Bell-Webb & Ardimages (God's Own Country). She was also a co-writer/co-director on the James Franco-helmed project BLACK DOG, RED DOG, starring Whoopi Goldberg, Chloe Sevigny and Logan Marshall-Green. Finally, her documentary film, ZIONA, about a cult in the Indian Himalayas, recently premiered at the American Documentary Film Festival.
Leonora received her MFA from Tisch, NYU and is represented by Roxana Adle and Alex Rusher at Independent Talent Group, and by Lief London for commercials.
